Youth volunteers grades 6-12 needed to help with LEGO Builders Club. Email Robin, reyman@phpl.info,  if this is your first time volunteering at the library. 

Grades K-5

Start with free build fun, get surprised halfway with a twisty new task, and take home a LEGO mystery accessory each time! Bricks, brains, and big imaginations welcome!

Grades 7-12

Do you love comics? Do you have an eye for art or a penchant for panels? Then join our teen graphic novel book club where we discuss a new comic every month. Snacks and fun activities await! 

Ages 2-6 w/adult

Local art teacher, Sandie Enk, is back to help you create a one-of-a-kind winter themed masterpiece with your little one. 

Explore the bright geometric art of Sonia Delaunay, then create your own colorful design with bold, overlapping shapes. Play with color, patterns, and repetition to make artwork that really pops!

Ages 2-6 w/adult

Come explore a different place each month with food, music, and a craft. This month our adventure will take place in New Mexico.

We will examine a few of the various devices, methods, and services that allow you to save money by ditching your cable subscription while still keeping up with your favorite shows, news, and teams.

We need YOU to tutor K-12 students at the library's Study Buddy Homework Center. Help others learn and earn community service hours- no registration needed! Just visit the Youth Department during center hours when you're available. 

Need help with homework or looking to enhance your math or reading skills? Look no further! Drop by the Youth Department during center hours and connect with a friendly high school study buddy–no registration required!

Newbie or champ? Play, learn, and level up your skills with help from our instructor and teen mentors. All levels welcome—let’s make some moves!

Join us for stories in Polish, along with games and a craft! 

This month we will be creating reviews for our favorite teen books to share on our Teen Space wall. Supplies will be provided. Earn one service hour, enjoy snacks, and make a difference!

Let’s get movin’ and groovin’ as we explore different dances through movement, imagination, and structured play. 

Learn how to use Tinkercad and create something to 3D print at our awesome Lab!

Children will serve as jurors to vote for the best illustrated picture book from the past year.  This is a series, children must sign up for both events, January 5th and January 19th. Celebration pizza party afterwards!
