The Lab is generally an independent workspace, but you can always Book a Maker to have a staff member guide you through your project.
Lab FAQs
- Lab hours: Mon-Thurs 10am-8pm, Fri 10am-5pm, Sat 10am-4pm, Sun 1-4pm
- The Lab is available to anybody ages 14 and up from any library. Patrons 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
- To make the most of your visit, we highly recommend reserving equipment to ensure availability. Reservations are available in two hour time slots. Priority will be given to individuals who have made a reservation.
- Equipment is free to use, but we have materials available to purchase Price List

Accucut Die Cut Machine - A rolling die cut machine that uses preset dies to press and cut paper crafts. Options include letters, numbers, shapes, plants, animals, sports, and more. Adults use only.
Apple iMac Computer – Powerful computer that is the hub of the lab.
Bambu Lab P1S 3D Printer - The Library's newest 3D printer. It’s bigger, faster, and more detailed than the old one. You can send in your own print files and the Library will print them for a small fee. 3D printing at the library
Blu-ray/DVD Burner – Easy way to save videos, photos and other content in disc form. Discs are available for sale at the Information Desk (10 cents for DVD, 50 cents for Blu-ray) or you can bring your own.
Brother SE1900 Sewing and Embroidery Machine - Our brand new embroidery machine that can be used inside the Lab. It has 138 built in designs and 11 embroidery fonts perfect for monogramming. It includes a 5 x 7 embroidery field. Extra hoops are also available in the following sizes: Small hoop size - 1"x2.5", Medium hoop size - 4"x4", Large hoop size - 5"x7", Extra Large hoop size - 5"x12" Instructions of embroidery machine or Instructions for designing files
Button Maker 1.25” - Can make 1.25” pins, magnets, and keychains. These items are available for sale in the lab to create your own buttons
Button Maker 2.25” - Can make 2.25” pins or magnets. These items are available for sale in the lab to create your own buttons/magnets.
Cricut EasyPress 2 - A machine that combines the speed of a heat press and the convenience of household iron for use with your iron-on projects. Heat transfer vinyl is for sale in the lab. Bring your own items to iron on to. Instructions for Cricut EasyPress
Dremel DigiLab 3D45 3D Printer - The Library's second 3D printer. You can send in your own print files and the Library will print them for a small fee.
Epilog Zing 24 – A laser cutter that can cut or engrave a number of different materials. Ours also includes a rotary tool that allows it to engrave on glasses and mugs. Staff use only. Engraving at the library
Epson V600 Perfection Photo Scanner – Photo scanner with negative and slide scanning ability. Instructions for digitizing photos, slides, and negatives.
HTVRONT Auto Heat Press Machine – 15" x 15" press for sublimation printing. Can be used to sublimate anything flat.
HTVRONT Auto Tumbler Heat Press – Designed for use with round objects like mugs, wine glasses, tumblers, and more. Press auto adjusts for different sizes.
Sawgrass SG1000 Sublimation Printer – Print on 8.5x11 or 11x17 sublimation paper using the adjustable tray.
Silhouette Cameo 4 – An electronic cutting tool for personal use. It can cut paper, cardstock, vinyl, fabric, and other materials. Select materials for sale or bring your own. Instructions for Silhouette basics
TEAC LP-R660USB - A machine that can play CDs, records, and cassettes as well as convert them to CD or digital. Instructions for digitizing records and cassettes
VCR/DVD Player and Digitizer - Combination that allows you to import video from VHS or DVD for editing on the computer and burning to a DVD, Blu-ray, or flash drive. Instructions digitizing vhs and dvds Instructions for digitizing VHS and DVD
Adobe Creative Suite CS6 (Includes Photoshop and Illustrator) – For editing pictures, photos, and documents.
Apple iMovie – For making and editing movies Autodesk Sketchbook – An advanced digital drawing tool.
Audio Hijack – Converts cassettes and vinyl records to digital.
Inkscape - A free vector based software that can be used to make advance illustrations and more. Can convert images to be cut by the laser cutter. Includes Ink/Stitch, an extension used to make images into embroidery files for the Brother SE1900 Sewing and Embroidery Machine. Instructions for Inkscape and Instructions for Ink/Stitch 101
Microsoft Office for Mac – For document creation like on Windows PCs. Includes standards like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Roxio Video Capture – Converts DVD and VHS to digital formats.
Silhouette Studio – Creates designs that can be printed and cut on the Cameo. Instructions for Silhouette basics
Toast Pro 20 – Burns digital files to CD, DVD and Blu-ray.
