We need YOU to tutor K-12 students at the library's Study Buddy Homework Center. Help others learn and earn community service hours- no registration needed! Just visit the Youth Department during center hours when you're available.

In 1974, shortly after the 1980 Olympic Winter Games were awarded to Lake Placid, members of the community decided to create a collection of materials pertaining to the Games for future use in a museum/research facility.

Preserve memories by learning to digitize your old negatives, slides, photos, and videos. We’ll go over basic digitization techniques using technology available in The Lab.
