Craft your favorite video game characters and icons into 8-bit style perler bead keychains.

Volunteers in grades 6 - college are needed to help with the Family Game Night event.

Putt through the library stacks! Tackle wacky challenges and create your own mini golf game to take home.

Drop in anytime and stay as long as it suits your family — the fun never stops!

Come to the LAB and create your very own one-of-a-kind tie dye t-shirt!
All materials are provided—just bring your creativity and be ready to get colorful.

Tip: Wear older clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy.

Create your own paddle, inflate a balloon ball, and see how long you can keep it bouncing! Challenge your family and friends—laughs guaranteed!

Youth volunteers grades 6-12 needed to help with the Parade Pinwheel craft program. Email Robin, reyman@phpl.info if this is your first time volunteering at the library. 

Create and decorate your very own pinwheel to show off at the Prospect Heights Independence Day Parade on Saturday, July 5! 

Drop by the LAB with your own knitting, crochet, cross-stich, embroidery, or other portable project and socialize with others who share similar interests.  All experience levels welcome, however, no formal lessons are provided.

Join Library staff in the Prospect Heights Independence Day Parade. Register and receive a Summer Reading t-shirt to wear at the parade. Meet at 10 am in the St. Alphonsus parking lot, 411 Wheeling Road. Parade leaves at 10:30am.

Create original, frame-worthy art using a variety of colorful paper. As a bonus challenge, create a landscape portrait using paper cutouts.
