Event Details
Volunteers in grade 9 and up are needed to support this unique and meaningful event.
Volunteer Roles
Volunteers will be assigned one of the following roles during their shift:
Volunteer 1: Check-In Assistant
• Count readers as they arrive at the check-in table
• Ask patrons which “Book” they would like to read
• Track when Books are checked out and returned
Volunteer 2: Survey & Support Assistant
• Distribute and collect surveys from participants
• Escort Books back to the Youth Room after each reading
Volunteer 3: Book Escort
• Escort Books to reading locations (Meeting Room or Café)
• Track when Books are checked out and returned
• Primarily assist in the “Green Room” (Youth Programming Room)
