Reaching for the Heights presents the John Hersey High School Steel Drum Band

Experience a musical vacation to the Caribbean with The John Hersey High School Steel Band. Under the direction of Joe Sonnefeldt, this select group of percussion students has performed for school concerts as well as special events in the community. The Steel Band will perform various styles of music, from Caribbean to classical, on their instruments handcrafted from 55 gallon steel drums.
