Program Description

Event Details

Join seasoned travelers Barbara Sugden and Ron Vargason and learn about the country where Western civilization was born! See the classic monuments of 2500 years ago, and hear their stories in history and myth. Cruise through the Corinth Canal and around the Peloponnese on a small motorsailer, stopping to visit many archaeological sites, including Delphi, home of the ancient Oracle, and Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic games. Then, ferry through the Aegean Sea to Santorini, famous for its blue domes, and Naxos, with its traditional villages and green farmland. Photos from 2019.

Mask Procedure

Any individual who is over age two and able to medically tolerate a face-covering (a mask or cloth face-covering) shall be required to cover their nose and mouth with a face-covering when in a public place and unable to maintain a six-foot social distance.  Face-coverings are required in public indoor spaces.
