Event Details

In 1858, the entire US (North and South) are watching the Illinois Senate Race. Join John Moore to explore the series of seven debates between Republican Abraham Lincoln and Incumbent Democrat Senator Stephen Douglas, all focusing on Slavery. A preview of 1860 Election and Civil War.

Our speaker will be in the Library’s event room presenting this program. We will still continue to offer attending programs virtually via Zoom.
