Event Details

No one takes being a rock star more seriously than Rod Stewart.  Fancy sports car, big hair, flamboyant clothing and of course models for wives.  He’s unabashedly all in and could be a rock and roll cartoon character except for this one little thing…he’s a great singer!  Professor Gary Wenstrup shares performance and interview clips tracing the arc of Rod’s career from “Maggie May,” “Tonight’s The Night” and the eternally embarrassing “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy” to his astoundingly successful interpretations of the Great American Songbook.
