Nature Speaks: Restoring in the Face of Climate Change/Live Virtual

Event Type: Adult Program
Age Group(s): General public
Date: 6/25/2020
Start Time: 7:00 PM
End Time: 8:30 PM
Description:
Climate change is here and there are many actions we can undertake to combat the effects or adapt to it. Iza Redlinski, a Conservation Ecologist with the Field Museum, discusses practical approaches to performing restoration and raises philosophical questions as to whether we fight effects of climate change or try to think ahead and prepare for what is to come. You will leave thinking about best approaches and ways in which you can build on ongoing actions. This program is co-sponsored with the Prospect Heights Natural Resources Commission. You will be provided a link to join this Zoom program.
