 Dr. Allison Sacerdote-Velat, Curator of Herpetology at Chicago Academy of Sciences|Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, discusses the known threats to conservation of smooth green snakes, an Illinois endangered species. Learn about her research focused on local reptiles and amphibians like the smooth greensnake and wood frog, their ecology, and applied conservation techniques. This program is co-sponsored with the Prospect Heights Natural Resources Commission.
